Job Title: Vice President of Sales - Cybersecurity Consultancy
Location: Remote (Preferably Washington D.C. or Mid-Atlantic Region)
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 Base + Uncapped OTE
About Them: This company is a leading cybersecurity consultancy dedicated to safeguarding businesses from evolving cyber threats. their expertise spans across Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Managed Services, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). They aim to provide comprehensive and innovative solutions that empower organizations to operate securely and efficiently in the digital landscape.
Role Overview: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team and drive growth in the commercial and SMB sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in selling cybersecurity solutions, a network of valuable industry connections, and a track record of success in new business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand our footprint in the commercial and SMB markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts.
- Drive new business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
- Leverage industry connections to open doors and generate leads in the cybersecurity space.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with company objectives and market trends.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales role within the cybersecurity industry, with a strong emphasis on SIEM, Managed Services, and EDR solutions.
- Demonstrated success in selling into the commercial and SMB sectors.
- Established network of industry connections and a robust track record of new business development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with occasional travel to clients and in-office meetings.
- Preferred location in Washington D.C. or the Mid-Atlantic region.
