We are differentiated by our broad spectrum of Cloud technologies which will give you a prime opportunity to get hands on experience with cutting edge cloud concepts.
We are searching for a Computer Science or Information Technology intern located in our Irving, TX office. This is a paid summer internship opportunity. This summer project consists of developing and maintaining cloud desktop environments and learning and supporting cybersecurity technologies such as cloud-native SIEM/SOAR products used for Incident Response Management.
Information Technology interns perform the same challenging work assignments as our new full-time hires. This position is a great way to gain hands-on experience by supporting IT operations using cutting edge Cloud technologies as well as gaining critical cybersecurity experience necessary for today’s changing environment.
Experience you will gain:
- Exposure to the Microsoft Azure cloud and associated corporate environment hybrid setups, networks, cybersecurity protections, etc.
- Work closely with and learn from both infrastructure cloud engineers and cybersecurity cloud engineers
- Opportunity to implement/assist in automations within the Microsoft Azure environment
- Exposure to cybersecurity protections/technologies within the Microsoft Azure environment
- Opportunity to learn and assist with managing hybrid corporate environments with both Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, in addition to associated cybersecurity technologies and best practices
- Exposure to Azure virtual desktop technologies, Microsoft Defender product suites in Azure Cloud, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year accredited university/college in an IT-related degree program
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Minimum 48 completed semester hours at a 4-year university before start of the internship
- Must be able to relocate to the work location for the duration of the internship
Top Candidates will also have:
- Proficiency in any of the following computer software scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Proficiency in any of the following computer software applications or programming languages (.NET, C++, C#, Java, SQL, HTML, etc.)
- Strong communication, teamwork, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding Cybersecurity concepts and technologies
- Demonstrates technical and non-technical continuous learning
Hours are flexible and depend on the student’s class schedule, course requirements (if applicable), and availability.
