We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our Emission Environmental Team. The primary focus of this role will be to analyze current emissions data, model future scenarios, and provide insights to ensure that the client’s new warehouses are built with environmental sustainability in mind, minimizing emissions and adhering to climate-friendly practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze emissions data to assess the environmental impact of new warehouse constructions and operations.
- Develop data models and perform statistical analyses to provide actionable insights for reducing emissions.
- Collaborate with the Emission Environmental Team to ensure projects are environmentally sustainable and aligned with climate treaties.
- Use machine learning and statistical methods to model emissions data, identifying trends and making predictions about future impacts.
- Build and maintain interactive data visualization dashboards using Streamlit or similar tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Apply theoretical models to real-world data, ensuring practical, sustainable outcomes.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, MATLAB, SAS).
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning, statistical Modeling, and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and MATLAB for data analysis and Modeling.
- Experience building front-end dashboards using visualization tools like Streamlit / QuickSight.
- Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical models to practical, real-world problems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
