Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in connectivity/device specific feature development.
- Experience working in designing/building or working deeply with other Bluetooth stack architectures.
- Experience in C++, Java, Rust.
- Experience designing APIs and working on frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead new features and technologies within the Bluetooth domain along with proposing long term technical strategy
- Design, implement and maintain Android Bluetooth Connectivity stack for both 1P and 3P devices
- Collaborate with both internal, external and partner teams to refine and define the Bluetooth stack and scaling it to the industry
- Help build the next generation of APIs & library for 1p and 3p developers
- Partner and collaborate with related engineering teams, product management, and program management to ensure the development of high-quality solutions in a timely manner
