Job description
We are currently seeking an individual to fill an Office Administrative Assistant position in Hayward, California. This individual will spend 70% of their time supporting the construction business and 30% of their time supporting the property business.
Job Duties
Property Business
· Conduct email campaign (template created by others) of approximately 1000 emails per week
· Online research projects
· Update and manage excel databases
· Process and track invoices and billings
· Coordinate with vendors, clients, and tenants
· Manage company website and LinkedIn account (update articles, pictures, case studies, etc..)
· Misc. projects in conjunction with property management
Construction Business
· General office administrative tasks
· Data entry and creating spreadsheets
· Process and track shipping information
· Process and track internal 'work order' information
· Process and track vendor invoices and billings
· Process and track customer payments
· Assemble and maintain job files
· Trips to USPS, Office Depot, notary, general errands etc.
· Communicate with vendor’s and client’s administrative and accounting departments
· Complete project prequalifications, questionnaires, warranties, and closeout documentation
· Input received hardware information into inventory database
· Manage company website and LinkedIn account (update articles, pictures, case studies, etc..)
· Providing backup support to the general office staff and receptionist duties

· Basic accounting experience

· Familiarity with construction industry
Compensation Summary
· $25-30 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Forderer Cornice Works is an industry leading supplier of commercial doors, frames, hardware, and glass. Since 1875 we have served government institutions, healthcare, education, commercial, and multifamily clients throughout California. We have a laid back, flexible, and tightknit culture. From 1906 to 1999 Forderer operated out of a commercial building in the Mission/Potrero district of San Francisco. In 2000 we moved to Hayward and rented out the building. Today we still manage the San Francisco property, which now caters to art galleries and tech companies.
