The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given project such as budget, timelines and teams. They will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager, handling large budget over 10M and complex projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to conduct effective project meetings, workshops, and other forums.
- Experience working with stakeholders (C -Executives) at various levels, including executives.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
- Ability to support, influence, and negotiate project decisions using prioritization and data.
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies.
- Insurance industry experience is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent analytical skills and capability to navigate complex scenarios.
- Proficient in MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experienced with JIRA and Confluence
