Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer - Oracle/ETL (Snaplogic)/AWS
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- AWS certification is a strong plus
- 10+ years of experience in solutioning of Oracle development (PL/SQL) and/or Streams based development
- 5+ years of experience with solutioning and development with ETL technologies (Snaplogic)
- 3+ years of solutioning experience with one or more of the following: AWS Cloud environments (development, deployment, and support); Containerization and Orchestration technologies; Application web server technology concepts; Python/PySpark
- 2+ years of data modeling experience
- 2+ years of NoSQL experience (DynamoDB/Aerospike)
- 2+ years of Java development experience
- 2+ years of microservices architecture & development experience
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse modelling and Reporting and Analytics platforms like Snowflake
- Strong understanding of API development experience with large scale, highly available Enterprise class platforms
- Strong experience developing in an Agile team setting (Kanban and/or SCRUM)
- Experience working in a DevOps and CI/CD environment
- Ability to think out of box and design end-to-end solutions
- Passion and intellectually curious to learn new technologies and business areas
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
