Manager, Data & Analytics – Remote
The CFO of a dynamic, PE backed, $300MM+ medical practice group asked HireneXus to support them and the Director of Data & Analytics in their search for a Manager (no direct reports, work stream ownership). This team member will report to the Director of Data & Analytics and own various workstreams together with functional leaders. The right person would have the skills and experience necessary do great data analysis, and a good background in the multisite service provider business.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Cross-functional partnership: You will lead analytical project streams involving functional leaders, setting the analytical agendas that underpin strategic discussions.
- Business Understanding: You will apply analytics methodologies to each function of the business, including pricing & procurement, hospital recruiting, quality of care, and other aspects of hospital performance management.
- Development: You will develop dashboards and analyses that operational and executive leadership can act on.
- Training: You will train users of your products and support their ongoing usage, developing collateral that helps us scale our impact as we partner with more hospitals.
- Data Understanding: To meet the business’s informational needs, you will deepen the business’s understanding of its data and processes through exploration, documentation, and informing the redesign of core data generating systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in analytics roles
- Experience developing production-ready dashboards in Power BI
- Advanced proficiency in SQL; proficiency in Python
- Exceptional ability to translate business questions into data-solutions
- Proven track record of learning and applying cutting-edge, code-first technologies to solve business problems
- High energy, humble team player with “get it done” attitude, seeking collaboration with colleagues
Ideal Candidates Will Possess
- Experience working in the Databricks platform within the last six months
- Comfort using Git and workflow management tools, such as GitHub or equivalent
- Background in statistical modeling or machine learning

Senior Associate, Data & Analytics – Remote

This team member will report to the Director of Data & Analytics and own various workstreams together with functional leaders. The right person would have the skills and experience necessary do great data analysis, and a good background in the multisite service provider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Analytics Product Development: Design, build, and continuously improve scalable analytics products to monitor client growth, retention, and value KPIs, incorporating user feedback.
- Performance Insights: Identify and communicate performance trends, focusing on root causes and opportunities for growth to inform business decisions and initiatives.
- Thought Leadership: Establish and promote innovative analytics methodologies. Own work streams.
- KPI Management: Define KPIs, measure their performance, and design supporting data models.
- Data Pipeline Integration: Collaborate with the data engineering team to implement data pipelines for analytics products.
- Training and Adoption: Develop and implement training programs to increase tool adoption, using feedback to refine processes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with functional groups, leveraging expertise and a passion for learning and service. Lead cross functional teams working on the most important aspects of the company’s improvement initiatives.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analytical projects for the leadership team to drive business value.
Requirements
- 5+ years of post-undergrad experience in data and analytics.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- High-energy, humble team player with exceptional communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and business acumen to understand growth drivers.
- Excellent data modeling and analytical skills, capable of translating business questions into technical solutions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work.
- Experience with Python and SQL for developing data management and analytics scripts.
- Ability to develop production-ready tools, preferably in Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in business terminology and concepts gained through analytics experience.
- Experience in a private equity-backed services company focused on client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar Apache Spark-based tools.
- Experience with collaboration tools like GitHub.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
- Background in statistical modeling or machine learning.
