Description
This role involves planning, implementing, and administering Identity and Access Management (IAM) services across the organization. Key responsibilities include ensuring the IAM program meets organizational standards, developing policies and procedures, and managing user access to systems, applications, and data.
Collaboration with various departments is essential to grant proper access entitlements while maintaining the security of sensitive information. The position also entails performing risk assessments, audits, and preparing IAM reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage user access rights, permissions, and requests.
- Perform risk assessments and audits, ensuring compliance across the organization.
- Develop and manage vulnerability and threat management processes.
- Train users on policies and procedures and monitor compliance.
- Document security requirements, controls, and impacts related to new technologies.
- Investigate security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in Identity and Access Management or a related field.
- Preferred experience with IAM tools, such as Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD.
- Experience with programming languages including Java, Python, and PowerShell.
- Certification in Identity and Access Management, such as CIAM or CIMP, is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of IAM concepts like SSO, role-based access control, and identity federation.
- Understanding of authentication protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos.
- Familiarity with networking concepts like firewalls, VPNs, and DNS.
- Ability to troubleshoot IAM-related technical issues and learn new technologies.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record is required.
This position may involve on-call availability and a background investigation due to access requirements to sensitive systems. The work environment is a standard office setting with the potential for hybrid work. Less than 10% travel is required.
