Skill/Experience
- Kubernetes Fundamentals
- Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and hands-on experience building and operating Kubernetes clusters.
- Cloud Platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Infrastructure Provisioning
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning at scale using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, CloudFormation, etc.
- Control Plane Development
- Experience developing and maintaining control planes and CRDs (Custom Resource Definitions) in Kubernetes.
- Programming Languages
- Proficiency in Python or Golang.
- DevOps and Agile
- Experience with DevOps practices and agile methodologies for solution delivery through CI/CD pipelines.
- Architecture and design Experience
- Hands-on experience with automation and software development.
- Cross-Plane
- Good to have crossplane experience
- Cloud Computing
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud computing including virtualization, containerization, and microservices.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes at scale;
Experience designing and operating control planes for large-scale Kubernetes;
Deep understanding of Cloud concepts and services - AWS, Azure, GCP; Experience designing and implementing IaaC automation and Cloud infrastructure provisioning at scale; Knowledge of security concepts (with zero-trust design principles as plus) and SRE/Resiliency concepts (fault domain design, fault isolation);
Hands-on knowledge of cloud computing, including virtualization, containerization, and microservices;
Experience with Cross-Plane is plus;
Knowledge of and experience with DevOps and GitOps for solution delivery; Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly in managing and operating Kubernetes clusters at a platform level.
- Experience with CRDs (Custom Resource Definitions) in Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Golang (preferred) or any programming language.
- Experience with Kubernetes automation tools like Crossplane.
- Strong understanding of platform-level operations, including general control plane management and access control in Kubernetes. ( any similar control plane development is preferred)
- Ability to design scalable, high-performing Kubernetes platforms.
