Job Title: Healthcare Data Entry Specialist
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $25 - $32 / hour
Contract Type: 4-month contract (likely to extend)
Work Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM CT
Position Overview:
The Install Specialist plays a vital role in processing new business and renewal customer forms to meet contractual and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include handling forms related to the NY Surcharge Pool, Administrative Service Agreements (ASA), and Billing Collection Agreements (BCA), as well as processing change requests for these areas. We are looking for team-oriented individuals with strong analytical skills who can compile information from various sources to ensure accurate and complete filings from both current and historical perspectives.
Team Description:
You will join a small, collaborative team working on a shared backlog to meet the demands of the open enrollment season. A subject matter expert will provide training, direct your work, and serve as the primary point of contact for any escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and organize large datasets in spreadsheets.
- Review forms for errors or deficiencies and make corrections using Adobe.
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry.
- Upload, download, and edit electronic files as needed.
- Communicate effectively with employer groups, brokers, and internal business partners through email, phone calls, and virtual meetings.
Ideal Candidate Background:
- Experience with filing forms for the NY Surcharge Pool.
- Healthcare insurance experience.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Research and analysis capabilities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Comfort working with large data sets.
Preferred Skills (What Will Set You Apart):
- Experience with Level Funded/ASO business.
- Experience with filing forms for the NY Surcharge Pool.
- Additional healthcare insurance experience.
