Job Overview:
The Office Furniture Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of office furniture projects from start to finish. This role requires a blend of project management skills, design acumen and client interaction capabilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all objectives are met within scope, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Internal Communication: Maintain positive internal relationships, Teamwork is key to our success.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within financial parameters.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the installation process and conduct final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Project Manager or Coordinator in the office furniture or interior design industry.
- Strong understanding of office furniture systems and installation processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be available to work after‐hours and weekends if needed
