Job Summary
The Sr. Analytics Engineer is a senior technical role responsible for designing and implementing advanced data solutions that drive strategic initiatives and enhance decision-making capabilities across the organization. This position blends deep technical expertise with leadership in data architecture, engineering, and analytics.
Essential Functions
Description (% of Time Spent)
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business leaders, to interpret analytical requirements and deliver solutions that align with strategic objectives. Translates complex technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences. (25%)
- Leads implementation for S&OP global solution. (20%)
- Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation for data models, ETL processes, and analytics solutions, ensuring knowledge transfer and supporting long-term sustainability. (15%)
- Designs and architects advanced, scalable data models that drive strategic decision-making, aligning data infrastructure with overarching organizational goals through strategic collaboration with enterprise architects. (10%)
- Leads the development of sophisticated ETL processes, ensuring seamless integration of diverse data sources while establishing and upholding rigorous standards for data integrity and quality throughout the entire lifecycle. (10%)
- Directs the optimization and governance of the company's analytics platforms, ensuring they evolve in alignment with dynamic business needs. Champions the integration of cutting-edge analytics technologies, maintaining a position at the forefront of industry advancements. (10%)
- Advocates for and implements robust data governance practices and quality assurance frameworks, enhancing the reliability and accuracy of analytics outcomes. Proactively identifies and addresses data quality issues through meticulous analysis and problem-solving. (10%)

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business, economics, operations management, finance, or related field required
- Minimum seven (7) years experience in supply chain analysis including report creation and data mining.
Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven track record as an Analytics Engineer or comparable position.
- Mastery of SQL and extensive experience with relational databases.
- Proficiency in ETL tools and methodologies.
- Expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical prowess.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Boomi) preferred.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications preferred.
- Programming proficiency in Python, R, or Java and Python, in a professional setting preferred.

Base Salary: $145,000 - $155,000 annually
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
