Position Overview
Are you passionate about creating engaging content and eager to dive into the world of digital marketing? We're looking for a summertime associate to help craft captivating content for our park's digital channels, including our website, mobile app, and social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Proactively create dynamic photo and video content using various multimedia equipment, including GoPro and DSLR cameras.
- Event Support: Assist with park initiatives, including in-park events, media events, and remote activations.
- Design Assistance: Help design eye-catching social media graphics.
- Marketing Alignment: Support our Public Relations and Marketing teams by ensuring content and messaging align with PR and marketing goals.
- Administrative Support: Provide valuable administrative assistance to the Marketing and Brand Management teams.
- Additional Duties: Take on other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a Friendly Demeanor: Enjoys interacting positively with park guests on a daily basis.
- Is Creative and Detail-Oriented: Has a keen eye for design details, is curious, and is not afraid to try new things.
- Communicates Effectively: Can clearly articulate thoughts both orally and in writing.

- Manages Tasks Efficiently: Can organize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Has Experience in Content Creation: Familiar with vertical short-form video content, such as on TikTok or Instagram Reels.
- Possesses Photography Skills: Experienced with GoPro and DSLR cameras.
- Is Proficient with Software: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Knows Social Media Platforms: Experienced with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
- Enjoys Guest Interaction: Has a guest service orientation and enjoys engaging with guests, co-workers, partners, and media.
- Solves Problems Well: Able to tackle problems and meet strict deadlines.
- Adapts to Change: Comfortable with flexible and evolving goals and objectives.
- Is Driven: Motivated to achieve objectives and contribute to overall goals.
- Has a Portfolio: A recent work portfolio is a plus, but not required.
Additional Information
- Work Hours: Flexible hours, ideally Monday to Saturday from 11am-7pm, with some extended evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during the operating season.
- Requirements: Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and a background check (if 18 or older), which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references. A valid driver's license is also required.
