Application Support Senior Analyst Duration: 12+ months (possible extension/conversion)
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite), New York City, NY
The role supports the
FIS GMI platform, handling middle and back-office operations for financial institutions. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to GMI users, troubleshoot issues, and implement system updates.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and project teams to ensure smooth system operations.
- Monitor system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Maintain system documentation and provide user training.
- Manage production outages and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure robust software implementation and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years in production support or software development (preferably in fintech).
- Experience with GMI, AS/400, System 36/RPGLE.
- Strong SQL skills; familiarity with ITRS, ServiceNow.
- Nice to have: Python, Perl, or scripting skills.
