Duties & Responsibilities:
- As Loan Processor, you will support the Production team by applying your skills in the loan funding process. Some responsibilities include:
- Provides excellent customer service and communication in a fast-paced environment.
- Work cohesively with Underwriters, sales partners, and external customers.
- Responsible for all internal and external communication throughout the loan process and funding for each loan within your pipeline.
- Orders third party vendor reports required per policies, procedures, and lending guidelines.
- Reviews and analyzes all loan documents including appraisal, assets, personal and/or business financials, credit, background, escrow, purchase contract, construction/budget documents and preliminary title reports ensuring acceptance and adheres to company policies and procedures and product guidelines in a timely manner.
- Submits quality processed file to underwrite for initial review and/or clear to close decisions. Follows up on any outstanding loan conditions after initial underwriting decision.
- Takes initiative with a clear business mind providing problem-solving solutions with a collaborative approach with all parties associated with the loan, before, during and after closing.
- Escalates loan exceptions to management or Credit Committee for review and final decision outside of authority or as designated in the lending guidelines.
- Maintains an accurate active pipeline with knowledge of loan details.
- Upon Clear to Close prepares and delivers loan documents to escrow and/or closing agent for signing.
- Reviews executed loan documents prior to submitting for Pre-Fund QC review.
- Ensures prior to funding conditions have been met.
- Acts as a Team Player with all internal and external customers.
- Adheres to established SLA’s.
- Maintains an average pipeline of 25+ loans & funds 20+ loans per month.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience in a loan processor role. At least 3 years’ experience in loan processing.
- Knowledge of mortgage terms, compliance disclosures, and standard credit documentation
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented. / Proficiency with Encompass (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation:
Hourly $33.65 - $36.06 + Bonus structure $50.00 Per file closure
