We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a General Office Clerk in our construction-related office located in Corona, California. The General Office Clerk will be playing a crucial role in our service department, primarily assisting with the transition of database management from one system to another. The role requires a strong focus on data entry, accuracy, and basic office skills.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the transition of database management from one system to another
- Ensuring the accuracy of data entries and maintaining reliable records
- Using computer databases to process and manage customer applications
- Working collaboratively with the team and providing assistance as needed
- Prioritizing accuracy over speed in all tasks
- Utilizing administrative office skills for efficient operation
- Maintaining a consistent presence during the required working hours
- Demonstrating a keen eye for detail in all tasks
- Managing and monitoring customer accounts as necessary
- Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Office Clerk or similar role within the construction/contractor industry
- Proficient in Data Entry with a strong emphasis on accuracy
- Experience in performing Administrative Office tasks such as filing, managing correspondence, and scheduling
- Demonstrated Basic Office Skills including handling office equipment, sorting mail, and maintaining office supplies
- Proficient in Computer Databases and their usage for data management and report generation
- Experience in Database Administration and Database Management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and understanding of office protocols and procedures
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
