Grow your career as a Policy Governance Manager with an innovative global bank in New York, NY. Contract role with strong possibility of extension Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in Policy development and governance
- Excellent written, and verbal skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
- Ability to perform independently, organized, and flexible
- Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented
Desired Skills & Experience
- Advanced Degree
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services
- Wholesale Credit Risk or related Risk Management experience
What You Will Be Doing
- Policy Advisory and Strategy- provide guidance to 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense regarding Policy requirements, interpretations, and compliance.
- Policy Development- provide strategic input into the development and enhancement of all WCR Policy, Standards, and Procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and simplification.
- Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in the compliance and reviews of Policy and all related documents.
- Policy Implementation and Enforcement- engage with Businesses and Global Functions to track and influence the implementation of WCR Policy requirements.
- Regulatory Engagement- lead and participate in all regulatory engagement on WCR Policy and related documents.
- Communication- coordinate with key stakeholders to roll-out timely communications, trainings, newsletters, etc.
- Development Value: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a significant transformation effort for the company with active engagement across multiple business lines. The candidate will have organizational exposure to senior management across the company.
