Description
We are in search of a highly skilled sales professional to join our team focusing on the K-12 sector. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead growth initiatives, build meaningful relationships, and enhance our impact on K-12 education.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of School Partnerships, your primary focus will be on developing new and existing business relationships with non-public districts and schools. The aim is to grow and enhance services such as tutoring, intervention, summer school, professional development, and mental health support.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales cycle for your territory—from identifying prospects to closing contracts.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, and the Proposals Team to ensure efficient operations and alignment.
- Prospect Identification: Identify targets and generate leads through marketing campaigns, referrals, and participation in relevant conferences.
- Sales Planning: Develop and implement a sales plan aimed at meeting revenue and profit targets by attracting key prospects.
- Proposal Leadership: Partner with the Proposals Team to oversee the development of tailored sales proposals.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with school district leaders, board members, community influencers, and other important stakeholders.
- Account Strategy Implementation: Execute key account strategies to drive new business and expand existing relationships.
- Strategic Planning: Engage in regular planning and strategy meetings to support growth objectives.
- Market Analysis: Identify attractive markets and align strategies with favorable funding frameworks to expand our offerings.
Qualifications And Experience
- 7+ years of sales experience, particularly within K-12 service-based models.
- In-depth understanding of K-12 buying cycles and decision-making processes.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales objectives in the education sector.
- Strong relationship-building skills with school leaders and key decision-makers.
- Experience utilizing CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time for client meetings and conferences.
