In this role, you’ll guide the development and implementation of social media strategies while collaborating with divisional leaders, business owners, social media administrators, and field agents. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys sharing knowledge, connecting with others, and traveling nationwide to support social media growth.
As a social media expert, you will help professionals at all experience levels understand and apply best practices. With your public speaking and presentation skills, you'll teach insurance professionals how to optimize their social media presence, ensuring brand consistency and building strong online reputations. This is a remote position that includes nationwide travel and occasional international travel to major company events.
Responsibilities
- Travel across the U.S. to teach and support social media strategies and events.
- Occasionally travel internationally to provide event support.
- Act as a culture ambassador, fostering a positive brand reputation and engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media strategies at various levels.
- Present brand standards and explain the capabilities of different social media platforms, Google Business listings, Birdeye profiles, and microsites.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and content requirements in social media.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in social media, graphic design, digital marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in social media design and/or account management.
- A passion for social media and the digital marketing landscape.
- Willingness and excitement to travel frequently.
- Strong public speaking skills and the ability to connect with an audience.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with leadership and teammates.
- Enthusiasm for new projects and a proactive, initiative-driven attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail, along with excellent writing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere) is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout) and online reputation platforms (Birdeye, Talkwalker, Google My Business) is a bonus.
