Job Title: res Social Media Intern
Location: Remote (Option to come into NYC office 1-2 days a week if based in NYC)
Position Type: Part-Time / Internship (10-15 hours per week)
About Us: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Social Media Intern eager to dive into the world of social media marketing. If you're passionate about social media and want hands-on experience managing diverse platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, this is the role for you. We aim to provide you with practical, real-world experience and help you develop key skills in social media management, content scheduling, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining multiple social media platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
- Schedule and monitor social media content using Sprout Social
- Help brainstorm creative content ideas aligned with our brand voice and campaigns
- Keep social calendar organized and up-to-date
- Analyze engagement data, trends, and analytics to optimize content strategy
- Track and report social media performance metrics (followers, reach, impressions, etc.) using analytics platforms
- Research social media trends, competitors, and audience preferences to recommend new strategies
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages, fostering relationships with followers
- Support influencer outreach and collaborations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader campaign objectives
What We're Looking For:
- Proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for social media and marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in suggesting new ideas and strategies
- Understanding of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
- Basic design skills (Canva) are a plus
- Familiarity with social media analytics (Facebook Insights, TikTok Analytics, LinkedIn Insights, etc.) is a bonus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A creative mindset with the ability to adapt to different social media audiences
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
