- NYC/NJ candidates only please, this role must work hybrid 3 days a week in Jersey City.
- This is a contract role which will be around a year.
Junior Visual Designer
Join our team as a Junior Visual Designer and help us create stunning visual experiences for our clients. You will be responsible for assisting in the creation of producing high-quality graphics, animations, and other visual elements that will be used in various digital and print media. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of design principles, and the ability to adapt efficiently our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the development of assets, graphics, and layouts for digital and print media.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Portfolio of work that demonstrate a wide range of creative projects. (Past agency or large in-house brand)
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques for print, and web.
- Ensure all design work is high-quality, and meets accessibility and usability standards.
- Be able to establish a clear and consistent system for naming and organizing files to improve efficiency, ensure easy access, and enhance collaboration within the team.
- Highly proficient with Adobe Suite Products, Figma and similar tools.
