Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Inspire and guide a team of solution architects and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Manage team performance and development to meet organizational goals.
- Solution Architecture: Direct the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions tailored to the strategic and operational needs of DoD clients. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to best practices.
- Contract Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of the EIS contract and other DoD contracts to guide solution development and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with DoD clients, understanding their needs and demonstrating the value of proposed solutions. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for the client.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the strategic vision for the DoD solution architecture practice. Contribute to business planning, technology roadmap development, and resource allocation.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring architectural integrity and consistency. Review and approve technical designs to align with enterprise standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative solutions. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in the DoD space with a proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions and at least 5 years managing teams of 15 or more.
- Contract Knowledge: Extensive understanding of the EIS contract and other relevant DoD contracts, with the ability to navigate and comply with contractual requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in enterprise architecture, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and network infrastructure. Knowledge of emerging technologies and practices is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field; an MBA or related graduate degree is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, speaking, and writing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior DoD officials.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build strong relationships and quickly establish trust with clients, aligning with their vision for transformation and success.
- Organizational Agility: Ability to navigate and overcome business and technical challenges, demonstrating the benefits and operational path for achieving change in both direct and matrixed environments.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time as needed.
Compensation
The salary for this role varies based on location and individual qualifications. The base salary ranges are:
- Colorado: \(128,170 - \)170,890
- Virginia: \(134,280 - \)179,030
Specific offers will be determined based on experience, education, skills, certifications, and business needs. The role may also include short-term incentives or sales compensation, with additional benefits as part of our comprehensive package.
