As a leader, you will lead, develop, and empower your team to achieve goals and take them to the next level. The Claims Branch Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising claims handling operations within a specified unit. You will be responsible for ensuring those within your unit are resolving claims accurately, efficiently, and with excellent customer service, as well as ensuring compliance with Company policies and State regulations. You will also facilitate the growth and development of team members in your unit by training, mentoring, and providing continuous feedback.

- Assists in the direction of the claims branch to create accurate outcomes and minimize expense impact to ensure the accurate and timely processing of claims.

Provides guidance and mentorship to ensure performance goals are met. Monitors files for accuracy and compliance with Company policies and State regulations.
- Assists the Branch Manager with hiring and onboarding new staff.
- Provides advanced technical guidance on varying aspects of claims handling (serious injuries, claims referrals, litigation, retaining experts, etc.).

Qualifications
Education
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or GED
- You may be required to obtain a Company sponsored Adjuster’s license to handle claims, to be secured upon hire.

- Possesses advanced written and verbal communication skills to professionally represent the Company in multi-channel correspondence with internal and external customers.
- In-depth knowledge of claims operations and ability to apply knowledge in a leadership capacity.
- Ability to analyze, interpret and provide guidance for the resolution of complex liability and bodily injury claims.
- Ability to facilitate engagement to maintain high morale and ensure employee retention.

- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word) and claims related software.

- Must be able to access and operate Company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data into computer system, and reading documents from a computer database or email system.

- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb, and/or stand to access files, documents, and other equipment.
