Job Description: VCEA Social Media Manager
Salary: $1,500 per month
Commitment: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 10-15 hours a week

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our team and help us amplify our online presence.
Responsibilities:
- Content Calendar Creation: Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with our marketing strategy and business goals.
- Content Creation: Design and produce engaging and original content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Content Approval: Work closely with the team to ensure all content is aligned with our brand voice and goals before posting.
- Content Posting: Schedule and post approved content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, ensuring optimal timing and frequency.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and messages on our social media channels to foster community engagement and build relationships with our audience.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform future content strategies.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies are current and effective.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, including contests, giveaways, and special events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce visually appealing and engaging content.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) is preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing principles is a plus.
Deliverables:
Content Calendar Creation:
- Develop a detailed content calendar each month that outlines the planned content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Ensure the content calendar is aligned with the company’s marketing strategy and includes key dates, themes, and campaigns.
Content Creation:
- Create a minimum of 3 posts per week for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Ensure content is diverse, including a mix of graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Content must be engaging, brand-aligned, and tailored to the audience of each platform.
Content Approval and Posting:
- Submit content for approval at least one week in advance of the scheduled posting date.
- Schedule and post all approved content according to the content calendar. Ensure all posts are published at optimal times for maximum engagement.
Community Engagement:
- Monitor social media channels daily for comments, messages, and interactions.
- Respond to comments and messages within 24 hours to foster community engagement.
- Actively engage with followers, including liking, commenting, and sharing relevant user-generated content.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of all social media content using analytics tools.
- Provide a comprehensive monthly report that includes key metrics, insights, and recommendations for future content strategies.
- Use data to adjust and optimize the content calendar and posting strategy as needed.
Trend Monitoring:
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Identify and implement new trends that can enhance the company’s social media presence.
Campaign Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, including contests, giveaways, and special events.
- Ensure campaign content is integrated into the overall content calendar and aligns with broader marketing goals.
Additional Expectations:
- Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies and goals.
- Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the company’s social media presence and engagement.
