Summary:
Are you a data engineering student looking to apply your skills to a real-world challenge? We're seeking a talented intern to join our team and help revolutionize the window and door manufacturing industry. As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced data engineers to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure that support our Data, Analytics, Data Science and AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
- Data Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Data Modeling: Design and implement data models that support analytical and operational reporting needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide efficient data solutions.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python or another relevant language.
- Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., ETL tools, SQL, cloud platforms).
- Understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, data mart design).
- Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices.
