Your Impact:
- Write beauty and accessories copy that is consistent with the brand voice.
- Partner with Merchants and Marketing to ascertain key messages.
- Partner with Design, Graphic Production, Copy Coordination and ICS on creative projects.
- Manage copy content from concept through final execution
Minimum Salary: $73,000.00
Maximum Salary: $97,125.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Creative fashion writer who understands the brand and is able to maintain voice consistency
through all projects
- Attuned to fashion, retail and publishing (blogs, social media, etc.)
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, independent thinker that is able to partner across teams
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to present creative ideas
- Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail, as well as a holistic vision
- BA in literature, journalism, advertising, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years copywriting or fashion/beauty editorial writing experience
- Fashion/beauty, retail/direct experience.
- Fluency with Macintosh system.
- Knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style and AP Handbook
- Ability to read and proofread copy
- Ability to type and manipulate a mouse
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
