Design Development
- Responsible for building brand Style Guides. Collaborate with team and support the development of visual, informative Style Guides for the HOME brands (Martha Stewart, Sur LA Table, Emeril). Style Guides communicate brand relevant, trend-setting designs direction for a range of home decor products including textiles, tabletop, cookware, seasonal décor, stationary, furniture, fashion accessories and more. The Style Guides provide creative insight and direction for collaborations with many licensing partners and retailers
- Distribute and route Style Guides according to need of licensing partners and retailers
- Maintain and develop organizational systems for digital workflow
- Keep track of multiple partners, product categories and samples
- Lead trend inspiration research across multiple product categories and stay up to date on trends and market demands. Gather competitive research in similar product spaces. Provide recaps of trades shows and retail landscape trends.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with key licensees
Creative Asset Management:
- Organize and manage all creative digital and physical assets
- Continuously find inspiration and creative ideas through books, editorial history, social media, and beyond
- Become a visual brand expert for the HOME brands
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, product design, surface design, illustration or relevant field preferred but not required
- 2-3 years graphic design/illustration experience
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Ability to work collaboratively to help see product through to completion and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional visual and spatial awareness, with an eye for detail and a passion for aesthetics
- Strong typography and pattern skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Creative thinker and agile problem solver
- Occasional travel required

Salary Range - $65,000-$75,000
