Human Resources Coordinator- Hollywood, FL/Hybrid
We’re looking for a talented HR Coordinator who is passionate about people and ready to play a key role in supporting and continuing to build our HR function. If you have 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role and are ready to make an impact, we we ant to hear from you! This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to be involved and wants to continue to grow their HR career and expertise.
We are seeking a local candidate who will be able to support our Hollywood, FL office with regular on-site presence.
Here is a taste of what you will be doing:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with the recruitment process, from drafting job ads to screening candidates and scheduling interviews. Handle onboarding including collecting documentation and conducting orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Act as a go-to person for HR inquiries, support conflict resolution, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Benefits Administration: Handle health benefit queries, support new hire enrollments, and assist with annual open enrollment. Administer Leave of Absences.
- Training & Development: Coordinate training programs and employee development initiatives.
- HR Projects & Compliance: Assist with HR projects, research best practices, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining accurate employee records.
- HR Administration: Manage HR documentation, coordinate employee awards/recognition, performance management, and assist with activities and communications.
Recipe for Success:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP designation is an asset.
- 3-5 years in a similar HR role with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration and supporting a growing HR function and organization.
- Prior work experience in a sales, warehousing, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Calm under pressure and excels working in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Experience with researching/evaluating and implementing new policies, HR programs and best practices. Knowledgeable with HR laws/compliance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal/written communication skills. Proven ability to build relationships across the organization.
