Our Client, a Multi-State Operator in the Cannabis industry, is hiring a Vice President of Product to oversee brand and product launch strategy across multiple markets.
Role Overview:
As the VP of Product, you will be at the helm of product strategy, driving the development and execution of the company's product vision. You will lead a talented team of marketers and cross-functional collaborators to create and optimize a diverse range of cannabis products that align with market trends and consumer needs. Your strategic acumen and hands-on approach will be critical in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring the successful launch and scaling of new products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and vision.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch analysis.
- Market Insight: Analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and drive product innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, R&D, and operations teams to ensure seamless product development and execution.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and maintain the highest quality benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in Cannabis product management or related roles, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership position. Experience in the cannabis industry is REQUIRED
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills. Proven track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cannabis industry, including ability to interface with cultivation + production teams, regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and consumer trends.
