Role Description:
Sidepocket is seeking a Lead Growth Marketing Expert (Marketing Ownership role) to join our team during a pivotal time as we approach hyper-growth projected over the next 6 months. This full-time, primarily equity-based role offers a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial marketer and growth expert eager to take a leadership position within a dynamic startup environment.
Key Aspects of the Role:
- Leadership Opportunity: Fast-track to a director position, managing the entire web and mobile product marketing initiatives.
- Significant Equity Compensation: With 70% of our committed team compensated through equity, the selected candidate will receive 75% equity compensation during the initial 12-16 months to align deeply with our long-term goals of fast-tracking this role into a leadership role with sufficient skin in the game. This is not a role for someone with high salary requirements initially or substantial personal responsibilities.
- Expert Team Collaboration: Work alongside a dozen seasoned professionals averaging 20 years of experience, including cryptographers from top financial institutions, hedge fund quants, serial entrepreneurs, and tech leaders from $10B+ companies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to consistently increase the number of clients acquired week-over-week.
- Attrition Reduction: Collaborate with product and technology teams to reduce client attrition month-over-month, making necessary adjustments to marketing language and product features.
- Social Media Optimization: Manage and optimize all social media platforms to achieve consistent growth of at least 500 followers per month.
- Public Relations Enhancement: Secure at least 2 significant publications and PR exposures for the company or executives each month to boost brand visibility and reputation through PR outreach.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in growth marketing, with a focus on customer acquisition and retention on a limited marketing budget.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
