Description
Robert Half's client is seeking a Graphic Designer, Digital Media Specialist for their start up financial organization.
This is a direct hire opportunity, and would prefer someone local to Scottsdale (but open to remote).
Primary Duty
- Create high-quality digital content (from concept through completion) across various platforms, including content for websites, banner ads, landing pages, email templates, marketing collateral, and brand guidelines. Nice-to-have (not required): experience with animated videos, 3D rendering, and video creation/production.
Additional Duties
- Design and production
- Develop visually appealing and on-brand graphics for web, social media, and email
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to design promotional materials and advertisements that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Brand management:
- Maintain and update brand guidelines to ensure a consistent visual identity across all digital and marketing materials
- Lead the creation of brand assets, including logos, color schemes, typography, and imagery, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively communicated to all stakeholders
- Website and digital design – design and optimize user-friendly websites, landing pages, and digital interfaces, focusing on visual aesthetics, user experience, and performance
- Email and campaign design
- Design and develop email templates that are visually appealing, responsive, and aligned with brand standards
- Create digital assets for various marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and PPC advertising
- Collaboration and communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and development, to deliver cohesive and effective design solutions
- Communicate design concepts and ideas effectively to non-designers and gather feedback for iterative improvements
- Quality control
- Review and proof all digital assets for errors, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output before final delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve design processes and output
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong portfolio displaying digital content
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
Nice-to-have
- Animation and 3D rendering
- Produce engaging animations and 3D renders that effectively communicate complex ideas, products, or services
- Work with motion graphics software to create dynamic visual content for marketing campaigns and presentations
- Experience with animation and 3D rendering software (e.g. After Effects, Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.)
- Video creation and production
- Produce high-quality digital video content, including animations, explainer videos, promotional clips, and other dynamic visual content that effectively communicates key messages
- Work with video editing software to assemble raw footage, apply graphics, animations, and effects to create engaging final products
- Ensure all video content is optimized for various platforms, including websites, social media, and email campaigns, focusing on user engagement and conversion
