Job Summary Brand USA seeks a visionary leader to serve as its inaugural Chief AI Officer (CAIO), a role charged with transforming the organization into a global model for AI-powered tourism promotion. The CAIO will spearhead the strategic integration of generative AI, setting the stage for unprecedented growth in international visitation and solidifying the U.S. as the leading destination for innovation in travel. This pivotal role will go beyond simply implementing AI; the CAIO will foster a culture of AI adoption across the travel industry, driving tangible impact by maximizing partner engagement, optimizing marketing ROI, streamlining operations, and creating groundbreaking AI-powered experiences for travelers. The CAIO will be a champion for ethical AI practices, ensuring responsible data management and transparent decision-making while positioning Brand USA as the world's foremost authority on AI for tourism. Essential Functions
Primary Brand USA Initiatives
- Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities to leverage AI into the pursuit of organizational objectives.
- Establish AI governance guidelines and best practices for the ethical use of AI tools. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to help foster relationships between AI technology companies and travel industry stakeholders to improve processes and measure impact.
- Position Brand USA as a global leader in the use of generative AI through speaking engagements and communication through owned and earned media channels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior team
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect department leaders with technological solutions to pursue organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with the other departments on messaging and business modeling for achieving revenue goals. Identify and resolve issues across the partner engagement, trade, marketing, and corporate affairs teams.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience working with senior leadership, preferably in a strategic role.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities to motivate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts in an engaging and audience-appropriate manner.
- Excellent collaborator with the ability to work across the organization and drive change through influence.
- Ability to foster an inclusive environment and leverage diversity.

- A dedicated remote work area that is quiet enough for employee to concentrate is required. Must have homeowner’s or renter’s insurance and the ability to comply with company technology, safety, and health requirements.
