Your Role
You'll play a crucial role in leveraging technology to improve health and human services. You'll work with a team passionate about solving healthcare's biggest challenges and make a tangible impact on the lives of vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including writing complex stored procedures and functions.
- Use tuning advisors and execution plans to enhance long-running queries.
- Build and deploy database objects using DDL (Data Definition Language) and DML (Data Manipulation Language).
- Ensure database security by adhering to regulations and guidelines.
- Create and manage reporting deliverables, including SQL scripts.
- Participate in business report analysis and development.
- Apply best practices and defined processes for data analysis and architecture.
- Debug and troubleshoot stored procedure issues and handle errors effectively.
- Contribute to agile project teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 6 years of SQL Server development experience, specifically with SQL Server 2008⁄2012.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Previous experience with healthcare systems is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in writing complex stored procedures, performance tuning, and using SQL Server Analysis Services.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with DDL, DML, database security, and reporting deliverables.
- Leadership: Ability to take ownership of projects and mentor junior team members.
- Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with technology architecture, cloud technologies, SaaS, and product lifecycle.
