We are seeking to employ a detailed oriented Risk Analyst in Central Texas with relevant experience in preferably the construction, legal or capital improvement industry; As a Construction Risk Analyst, you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. The Risk Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our construction projects. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management, excellent analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for assisting the engineer team in duties associated with preparing, managing, and delivering documentation of capital projects. This will involve printing, plotting, scanning, preparing, filing, light drafting, data entry and other tasks required by engineering for project work. Customer service skills will be highly valued in this role.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and ongoing construction projects.
- Identify potential risks related to safety, financial, operational, and regulatory factors.
- Maintain a comprehensive risk register.
- Collaborate with project managers, safety officers, and other stakeholders to address identified risks.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in risk factors.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management.
- Provide regular updates on risk status and recommend corrective actions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk analysis or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction risk management software tools.

Knowledge of Construction Industry:
- Understanding of construction processes, standards, and regulations.
- Awareness of industry trends and best practices in risk management.
Attention to Detail:
- Detail-oriented approach to reviewing subcontractor prequalification documentation and maintaining an accurate database.
- Precision in preparing detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:
- Proactive approach to identifying potential risks and implementing risk controls to mitigate them.
- Ability to develop and manage prequalification criteria for evaluating subcontractors effectively.
Technological Proficiency:
- Proficiency in using software tools for risk analysis and reporting.
- Ability to utilize data analytics to identify trends and patterns in risk factors.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in Austin, TX is $85,000- $110,000.
