Key Responsibilities:
Establishing a Common Data Model:
- Analyze current procurement data structures, and identify gaps.
- Design and develop a unified data model that harmonizes, consolidates, & integrates various datasets / data sources.
- Ensure the data model supports business requirements, and enhances data findability, accessibility, interoperability, reusability, & consistency.
Implementing the Data Model:
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement the data model.
- Develop and execute a detailed implementation plan.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues during the implementation phase.
Defining and Implementing Data Governance Processes and Tools:
- Develop data governance policies and procedures.
- Implement data quality management practices.
- Select and deploy data governance tools to support data management activities.
- Train staff on data governance best practices and tools.
