As part of the Consumer Marketing team, you will connect directly with readers through our websites and various marketing channels, including email, social media, and advertising. Collaboration with product, content, and business teams will be crucial as you lead SEO strategies and A/B testing across these platforms to grow audiences and drive engagement with books and reading.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing research to discover and expand search opportunities for SEO success, contributing to the overall search strategy across digital marketing channels.
- Perform independent and collaborative analysis to help shape digital marketing strategy, focusing on paid, organic, email, and search traffic.
- Partner with content and product teams to recommend adjustments to copy, landing pages, and HTML/CSS for optimal search engine performance while staying on top of industry trends.
- Provide technical SEO support for tasks like crawling, indexing, XML sitemap generation, and schema markup implementation.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests across digital platforms, focusing on engagement, email acquisition, and purchase intent. Use tools like CrazyEgg and Lytics to create experiments, track metrics, and report on outcomes. Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the product team to inform site improvements, focusing on a test-and-learn approach aligned with business goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of SEO and A/B testing experience, with a proven track record of driving growth.
- Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, including search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, and similar SEO and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- A background in statistics and web analytics reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- A keen curiosity and desire to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL and understanding of database structures.
- SEO certification.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with PowerBI or similar tools.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is \(73,000 - \)95,000.
