Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive STEM Programs Project Manager to join our team at STARBASE ROBINS. The Project Manager will assist the Director in managing all volunteer efforts for all programs, including the STARBASE Advanced afterschool program, FIRST Lego League Super Regional Tournament, and career guides for our 5th-grade yearly program. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for STEM education.
Responsibilities:
1. Volunteer Management:
· Assist the STARBASE Advanced team in recruiting, retaining, and advertising all volunteer opportunities.
· Manage demographic data and analytics for volunteers and student participants.
· Train volunteers, facilitate activities during meeting days, and prepare monthly attendance reports.
2. Program Coordination:
· Collaborate with the STARBASE Advanced team to plan and develop curriculum for afterschool programs.
· Work with the Instructional team to plan and develop curriculum for the 5th grade program and summer academies.
· Organize all STARBASE ROBINS programs in coordination with the Director.
3. Communication and Outreach:
· Develop content for the monthly newsletter and manage all social media platforms to maintain an online digital presence.
· Conduct collaborative planning sessions with community partners.
· Prepare meeting invitations and documentation for all program-related meetings.
4. Teaching and Quality Assurance:
· Teach when required, ensuring high-quality educational experiences for all participants.
· Work with the Director to ensure STARBASE ROBINS programs meet established compliance and standards.
· Organize, document, implement, and publicize the activities of all STARBASE ROBINS programs.
5. Administrative Duties:
· Write and develop topics for the monthly newsletter, ensuring engaging and informative content.
· Assist in grant writing and Board governance activities as needed.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
· Minimum two years of experience in Microsoft Office and Excel
· Minimum two years of project management experience (Preferred)
· PMP Certification (Preferred)
· Experience with event planning and problem-solving
· Familiarity with STEM programs, robotics, or computer science (Highly desired)
· Teaching experience (Highly preferred, but not required)
· Experience with Board governance and grant writing (Desirable)

Work Schedule:
· 8-hour shift
