JOB DESCRIPTION:
One of Wripple’s clients, which is a multi-brand restaurant company is looking for a mid-level Copywriter to join their team. This client has more than 32,000 restaurants worldwide. This role would be within their in-house creative and production agency located in Atlanta, GA.
This position is a hybrid role in Atlanta, GA and is a full-time (40 hrs/week), 6-month contract role that requires you to be in office at least 4 days/week. Please note, this is a mid-level role, that would need between 3 -5 years of copywriting experience.
In this role, you would:
- Support the family of restaurant brands by writing world-class copy for fellow brands and shared services teams.
- Ensure the culture and values of Inspire and brands is reflective in all content created.
- Collaborate and support other members of the Studio to ensure that broader team goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of strong cross-platform creative (print, digital, POP, etc.), graphic toolkits, event/sales/executive presentations, digital and social media, and more
- Support the communication and marketing efforts for the company and its family of restaurant brands through concepting and writing copy.
- Expertly and persuasively clarify complex topics into easy-to-understand language
- Work closely and collaboratively with a variety of teams, at the corporate, brand and franchisee level
- Manage strict deadlines and coordinate edits with project owners, managers, and collaborators to effectively support multiple projects at once,
- Collaborate and learn from other creatives of various skillsets, specialties and levels of experience to create and execute high quality work
- Leverage tools, including traffic and ticketing systems and creative briefs, to learn and organize requests and needs to ensure we can move fast and produce high quality work
- Understand, adhere to and enforce brand guidelines, style guides and standards across multiple brands
Requirements
- 4 year degree or equivalent Art/Design/Advertising degree combined with a promising portfolio of work, appropriate for the level of experience and opportunity one has had to date in this field.
- Minimum 3 years of copywriting experience at a digital, marketing or communications agency (or equivalent in a corporate, in-house setting). Experience working with restaurant, food and beverage brands a plus.
- Experience with writing for a wide array of media, formats, platforms and mediums including print, broadcast, digital/mobile/social, POP, outdoor and events/displays, video
- Demonstratable ability to craft compelling narratives and storylines that drive engagement and action
- Ability to work quickly under short deadlines
- Demonstrate exceptional grammar, spelling, sentence structuring skills
- Extra Consideration paid to:
Digital and paid social media experience
Sports brands experience
Comedic writing experience
- Exposure to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and creative workflow and project management platforms such as Workfront, Jira, Monday
- A basic understanding of traditional corporate communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office and other platforms such as Teams, Sharepoint, Zoom, etc.
- Ability to multi-task, and learn on the job
- Using one’s natural creativity to solve problems, find answers and contribute what is needed as well as what is asked for
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to admit what you do not know, could improve upon and need to learn
- Demonstratable planning and organization skills
- Desire to learn and be better through experience while taking direction and cues from more senior team members
- Patience, grace and empathy for others
