Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly creative technical content and media specialist to elevate our brand’s digital presence and drive sales. This role combines artistic vision with a strong sales focus, involving content creation, social media management, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a background in visual art, sales and digital advertising to which they’d execute digital & guerrilla campaigns that drive profit through e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creative Content Creation: Develop and manage visually compelling and engaging content that aligns with our brand’s fearless philosophy and artistic vision.
• Social Media Management: Oversee all social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice while simultaneously representing the brand differently depending on the platform, driving engagement, and leveraging the brand shopping website.
• Partnership Development: Research and identify potential partnerships and influencers. Coordinate with the Business Development Manager or Assistant to secure approvals and manage collaborations. Ensure contracts are drafted and signed for new partnerships.
• Digital Advertising: Handle digital advertising efforts, including billboards, social media ads, and website promotions, to enhance brand visibility and drive sales with content.
• Content Curation:
Work with other departments to gather information and create content that supports marketing and sales goals. Ensure content is relevant, engaging, and aligns with the brand’s needs.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of content and campaigns, focusing on generating profit and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Collaboration: Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure the best content is created and partnerships are effectively pursued.
Compensation:
Deferred Payment of $2,200 after the first 30 days with other criteria
• E-Commerce Sales: Earn a 4% commission on sales generated through the company’s website.
• Content Creation Fees: Receive a fee for each piece of content created using editing software (e.g., Adobe, Canva) that is approved and utilized. Content not approved does not receive a fee.
• Partnership Revenue:
• Incoming Partnerships: Earn 2% of the total amount paid for any partnerships secured.
• Outgoing Partnerships: Receive 6% of any revenue the company earns from partnerships or collaborations facilitated by the Technical Content and Media Specialist.
• Social Media Earnings: Receive 3% of earnings from content on TikTok or other social media platforms that generates revenue for the company.
• Campaign Commission: Earn a share of the commission from online campaigns, which will be less than half of the percentage given to the Marketing Manager. The exact share will be project-dependent.
• Individual Annual Cap: For the first year of working, the maximum commission payable is capped at $200,000.
- The $200,000 cap applies separately to each department you manage, allowing a potential total of $400,000 in your first year (e.g., $200,000 in content and $200,000 in marketing).
Qualifications:
• Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Marketing, Communications, Sales or a related field.
Experience:
• We are seeking a candidate with 2.5 to 5 years of experience in roles that involve being visually creative and skilled in advertising and selling products, preferably online.
• Creative Expertise: Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling content and manage digital media effectively. Must have portfolio featuring one or more of the following; Graphic design, Media, Photography, Videography, 3-D Art for Apparel.
• Sales Skills: Experience in driving sales through e-commerce and social media platforms, with a focus on generating profit.
• Digital Advertising: Proficiency in managing digital ads, including on social media, billboards, and websites.
• Partnership Management: Experience in negotiating and managing partnerships.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to track and analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies for optimal results.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and design teams.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on both creative and strategic tasks.
Additional Information:
The Freelance Technical Content and Media Specialist position is contract-based, with the potential to transition to a full-time role as the business grows. This role requires a proactive and innovative approach to meet the company’s evolving needs.
