Role Description
We offer an immense level of autonomy and will play an extremely important role in expanding the paid media buying side of the business. As a Paid Media Strategist, you will be responsible for managing multiple 6-figures of spend in multiple ad accounts, optimizing campaign performance, and driving growth through paid media strategies. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to work closely and learn from our other departments. We are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about learning the ins and outs of TikTok Shop Ads, but is also curious and wants to learn about the future of social commerce. Our office is located across from the TikTok Headquarters in Culver City, CA. Most of our team works full-time in person, and it would be a big plus if you’re in person, but we are open to remote options.
Qualifications
- Passion for Media Buying and TikTok Shop: You should be highly driven and enthusiastic about paid media strategies within the TikTok ecosystem. You'll have the opportunity to work on client projects that will challenge you and expand your skill set. TikTok Shop Ads are extremely new and there are many exciting opportunities to test and learn.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze campaign data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance. You need to create a feedback loop with the content/influencer team and improve video quality. This involves tracking and analyzing data for each campaign, conducting A/B testing, and comparing results to refine strategies.
- Adaptability and Initiative: Our work environment is dynamic and can change rapidly. You must be comfortable taking on different tasks daily with minimal guidance and stepping outside of your comfort zone. You'll assist in creating and refining targeting strategies, provide recommendations for budget allocation and bid strategies to maximize ROI, and troubleshoot any issues related to ad delivery or performance. You will learn a lot and will have a blast if you’re interested in social commerce.
- Strong Communication Skills: Clear and prompt communication with team members and clients is essential. We are a very tight-knit team and you should be comfortable presenting strategies and results to clients and managers from TikTok.
- Experience with Ad Platforms: Familiarity with TikTok's advertising platform is a plus. Experience with other social media ad platforms is also valuable. This includes monitoring and optimizing all active ad campaigns to ensure they meet KPI requirements and stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends.
