Segrera Assocaites is partnering with a clinical research firm that is looking to hire a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in QuickBooks and have worked in biotech or research previously
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send invoices to sponsors/CROs for trial activity.
- Apply sponsor/CRO payments against patient activity and invoices in the CTMS.
- Contact sponsors/CROs with overdue accounts and attempt to collect.
- Maintain records of contacts with delinquent accounts.
- Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
- Process new trials in CTMS, ensuring financial settings are correct.
- Process protocol and budget amendment changes in the CTMS.
- Troubleshoot with staff questions around trial setup within the CTMS.
- Other ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
- Participate in specials projects as requested.
- May perform other job-related duties as requested or required.
Minimum required education, knowledge, skills experience, abilities, and certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with MS Office products, especially Excel features including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Good judgment. High level of professionalism.
- Experience with bookkeeping functions and QuickBooks is a plus.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal employees and external customers (pharmaceutical companies, governmental entities, organizations) in a cordial, articulate and timely manner.
- Ability to concentrate and remain on task through completion of multiple projects, including the ability to prioritize work tasks, perform a variety of tasks simultaneously, and manage time in a self-directed manner.
- Ability to work under periodic stressful conditions with multiple daily deadlines.
- High productivity and functionality within a team environment. Ability to work and interact with all personality types and levels of employees/clients.
