Key Details:
- Position: Long-term contract (new role, not a backfill)
- Location: Remote but preference for candidates in Atlanta, GA, or the Southeast US (finance team is based in Atlanta)
- Pay Rate: $65.00 - $70.00/hr w2
Required Experience:
- ERP Experience: Strong preference for Workday experience, particularly in the modules implemented (Time Tracking, Finance, Accounting, Banking & Settlement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Accounts, Budgets). However, general ERP knowledge is acceptable if the candidate can quickly learn Workday.
- Bonus if they are familiar with integrations with ADP, PNC, and Concur.
- Propensity to Learn: While specific Workday knowledge is ideal, the client is open to candidates who are quick learners and can adapt to Workday if they have exposure to other ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
- Business Process Understanding: Must understand finance and accounting processes within ERP systems.
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Not just a note taker, but someone who can negotiate requirements and push back where needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to interview business units, identify pain points, and document both high-level and detailed requirements.
- Testing & UAT: Experience facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring alignment between business requirements and IT solutions.
Desired Qualities:
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to identify business needs and solutions without being directed.
- Communication: Strong ability to document and articulate business cases, requirements, and processes in detail.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with financial feasibility studies, including Net Present Value (NPV) calculations and business case development.
Notes:
- Other Tools Experience: Experience with tools like Blueworks, Visio, or Modern Requirements is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Soft Skills: The client is looking for someone proactive, dynamic, and not a wallflower. They need to be comfortable in leading conversations, managing expectations, and having tough conversations when needed.
