Day to Day
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join one of the top utility providers in the Tacoma region. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our organization’s day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a mix of technical, administrative, and analytical tasks. You’ll collaborate with various teams to optimize processes, manage data, and support senior specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Reporting and Analysis:
- Run reports using SAP and PowerBi to extract critical business data.
- Utilize Excel exports for further data manipulation and visualization.
- Present findings to relevant stakeholders.
Platform Transition Management:
- Transfer job packages, documents, and information between different platforms.
- Ensure seamless transitions to maintain productivity.
Ad-Hoc Support:
- Assist Senior Operations Specialists with urgent or unexpected tasks.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide additional data and contribute to problem-solving.
Process Improvement:
- Participate in process improvement projects.
- Analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
Variates and Data Exploration:
- Run variates (statistical or analytical variations) to gain insights.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 1 year of billing and invoicing experience
- Proficiency in SAP, PowerBi, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
Pay:
$20hr - $30hr
