Title: Clinic Operations Director
Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 plus benefits
FTE: Full-time, Exempt

General Summary: The Clinic Operations Director will drive the implementation of clinic policies and procedures by providing administrative, operational, and management support to the COO with primary duties and responsibilities related to but not limited to efficiency improvement, patient satisfaction, accessibility to care, budgetary targets and meeting department goals, as well as overseeing individual clinic compliance with federal, state and county regulatory requirements, plus those of insurers. Efficiently utilizes personnel resources to plan, organize, and coordinate the daily activities for each clinic.

- Lead and mentor a team of managers and employees, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business strategies.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, vendors, and partner.
- Management of ongoing assessment, development, and implementation of systems to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with the development and implementation of operational protocols in compliance with operational policies.
- Oversees all clinic operations, Call Center, and Patient Transportation which includes assessment and evaluation of front office procedures, patient scheduling, and insurance enrollment, utilization, and renewal.
- Works with Call Center Supervisor and staff to ensure they maintain the company’s expectations and productivity levels.
- Managed all Patient Grievances and response to appropriate parties with corrective actions.
- Assist Clinic Administrator with all onsite required trainings to meet audit requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal and external Quality Assurance program fostering continuous improvement and meeting customer service levels.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and standards. Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate SCFHC’s commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
- Coordinate analytic, strategic, and technical resources to meet organization objectives.
- Assist with training of Patient Services Manager, Clinic Manager, Front Desk, Benefits Counselors, Patient Service Center, and Telephone Operators
- Will oversee all transportation logistics, develop work plans, and monitor patient schedules
- Assist and develop transportation subordinates, supervisors, and drivers in leadership and employee development.
- Develop processes and procedures for teams to ensure the success of proper servicing of customer demands.
- Establish and maintain tracking systems to monitor progress toward operational goals.
- Act as a liaison on behalf of the COO with the Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Director, Clinic Managers, Facilities Manager, and other members of the clinic staff.
- Manage and develop monthly statistical reports.
- Assist with the preparation for clinic audits and participation in audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Master’s Degree or equivalent health care work experience preferred.
- Require knowledge of office equipment, medical terminology, customer service, and some medical billing experience.
- Excellent negotiation and project management abilities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety, infection control & emergency policies and procedures.
- Six (6) years of clinical experience with primary health care clinics, FQHCs, and preferred.
- Preferred experience with OSHA Safety/Environmental guidelines and regulations.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, in English/Spanish both verbally and in writing.
