DevOps / Platform Engineer ⚡

This Series A funded AI start-up is looking for a Staff-level DevOps / Platform Engineer to scale their current infrastructure and help them unlock their ultimate goal of global expansion. The infrastructure has been built already, so they need someone to come in and implement their scaling plans.
The company is revolutionising workplace safety by improving safety and operational efficiency across industries like manufacturing, logistics, and retail. Their technology integrates AI-powered insights for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management, allowing companies to optimize workforce safety, reduce risks, and improve operational workflows.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain cloud infra and distributed systems for data processing, MLOps, and other services.
- Implement and refine DevOps practices for deploying applications using AWS EKS.
- Create infrastructure modules as code with Terraform.
- Design architectures for real-time AI processing on video at scale.
- Ensure security best practices are followed across the engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps roles.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and AWS services (IAM, S3, RDS, EKS).
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform).
- Experience building scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
