We are seeking a Project Manager, ERP to join our manufacturing client's Project Management Office. This key role involves leveraging technology to transform our core capabilities and enhance business outcomes. The technology projects managed in this role are essential to the client's digital strategy, emphasizing systems, data, and automation.
The Project Manager, ERP will ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of multiple projects within the ERP transformation program through active engagement across the enterprise. Collaborating closely with the ERP Transformation Director, this individual will lead project teams in executing ERP deployments, ensuring projects are chartered, governed, planned, and executed within defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
As a Project Lead, you will drive the ERP strategy execution, providing project and change management leadership throughout the lifecycle. Your role will involve ensuring projects achieve desired outcomes, managing interdependencies, and making decisions that align with the organization’s best interests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the delivery of multiple concurrent projects within the ERP transformation program.
- Define project priorities, objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned with business goals, in collaboration with business sponsors and delivery partners.
- Develop and oversee project plans, communications, tasks, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables. Provide transparent and timely status updates on project progress, challenges, risks, and financials.
- Lead project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, adapting to resource constraints and changing priorities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate cross-project and cross-functional activities to facilitate discussions, develop solutions, address problems, and assess project health and progress.
- Identify critical paths and implement mitigation plans as needed.
- Organize and lead quality assurance and performance review sessions (stage gates) to mark significant program milestones.
- Guide change management and transition projects to routine business operations.
- Travel within North America may be required.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (PMP, Prince 2).
- Change management certification (CCMP, CM2) is a plus.
- Over 10 years of experience in delivering complex enterprise-wide ERP and related technology implementations, preferably in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with various project delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, SAFE), emphasizing agile and iterative value creation in a customer-centric environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a complex and evolving portfolio.
- Flexibility and comfort in dealing with ambiguity, capable of navigating from strategic to detailed operational issues.
- A mindset that challenges the status quo, demonstrating creativity, determination, and a strong drive for success.
- Proven change leadership, successfully guiding organizations through transitions while maintaining focus and team cohesion.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, MES, Supply Chain, and Financial Systems.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance is an asset.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
