Role Overview
This remote position offers you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. while engaging with complex and meaningful challenges in the field of information security.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) in the execution of large-scale projects with varying degrees of complexity.
- Provide expert advice on best practices for creating secure architectures that fulfill business requirements.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies associated with Active Directory architecture and management.
- Work together to develop strategies, programs, and policies for secure access management that bolster the enterprise.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their business needs and implement security principles that facilitate secure growth and transformation.
- Contribute to the formulation of consistent security patterns, frameworks, and an all-encompassing security architecture.
- Offer consulting services to business leaders and application teams regarding their needs related to Active Directory connectivity.
- Participate in a 12x7 on-call rotation to provide support for the Active Directory infrastructure.
- Recommend necessary updates to security policies, controls, and operational practices.
Required Skills
To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture and security infrastructure.
- Expertise in managing backend Active Directory infrastructure and analyzing performance metrics.
- Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory authentication protocols.
- Proven skills in capturing and analyzing network traces and Active Directory performance metrics.
- A solid foundation in AD architecture, infrastructure, platform, and data security.
Qualifications
We seek a candidate with:
- 8+ years of experience in designing, managing, or maintaining extensive Active Directory environments or providing consultation to major organizations.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID Connect services.
- Familiarity with enterprise access management solutions, from architecture to deployment.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft SCOM, SCCM, SCVMM, Hyper-V, and SQL.
- Experience with Quest InTrust, Change Auditor, Enterprise Reporter, GPO Admin, and/or Active Roles Server.
Compensation And Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range between \(70,200 and \)137,800 annually, influenced by factors such as location, education, experience, and certifications.
