Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Admissions department to join our over 500 bed, Acute Care Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in various medical procedures.
Schedule: Days OR Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Available

Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conducting initial assessments of patients upon admission, including reviewing medical history, current health status, and specific needs to ensure appropriate placement and care planning.
- Admission Procedures: Managing the admission process, including completing necessary documentation, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring that all required consent forms and paperwork are accurately completed.
- Coordination of Care: Collaborating with medical, nursing, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth transition from admission to active treatment, and facilitating communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Patient Education: Providing patients and families with information about hospital procedures, policies, and what to expect during their stay, as well as answering any questions they may have.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions, including clinical notes, care plans, and progress reports.
Requirements
- 1 year of acute care RN experience.
- Have Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification (or able to obtain).
- Registered Nurse License (Florida).
