Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager with a background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Construction industries. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of our products, driving innovation, and ensuring that our product offerings meet customer needs and market demands. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, develop roadmaps, and lead the successful launch of new products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business goals for the market. Own the product roadmap, ensuring that it meets market demands and business objectives.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation, development, and launch to post-launch performance. Continuously analyze product performance and make data-driven decisions for improvements.
- Market Research & Customer Insights: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify trends, needs, and opportunities. Translate these insights into actionable product features and enhancements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for product launches, including pricing, positioning, messaging, and marketing plans.
- Innovation & Product Development: Drive innovation by identifying new product opportunities and improvements to existing product lines. Collaborate with internal teams to bring these ideas to market.
- KPIs & Performance Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product performance to ensure the achievement of business objectives. Provide recommendations based on data analysis.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present product strategies, roadmaps, and updates to senior leadership, ensuring alignment across the organization. Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver against timelines.
- Budget Management: Oversee the product development budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all products adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and sustainability goals where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of product management experience, preferably within CPG or Construction industries.
- Product Expertise: Proven experience managing physical products, ideally in manufacturing environments related to consumer goods, building materials, or construction-related products.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, while also managing tactical execution.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Project Management: Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for understanding customer pain points and translating them into successful product solutions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to product development and performance tracking.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with product design, development processes, and manufacturing for CPG or construction products.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
